Description of the project
Municipalities and cities are responsible for maintaining, among other things, the cleanliness of roads and roads and winter maintenance. To this end, many municipalities and cities have set up their own business establishments. Business establishments either purchase the equipment themselves to carry out maintenance and maintenance work or contract the work to private contractors. A lot of times, they both work together. These responsibilities also include street sweeping and taking care of the collection and responsible recycling and disposal of the huge masses of leaves and waste generated by street sweeping. The challenge was that the customer had extremely long dead drives, that is, the driving uniform, which had to be driven with a full tank without doing any productive work, i.e. sweeping the street itself. This extended by several days the length of the street sweeping season, when in a day you could only drive a certain number of streets. Kapasity took up the challenge and set out to design a customised solution for the customer as well as the associated logistical reform.
We provided a solution in which a street sweeping vehicle reverses in front of a baiting device placed next to the clamp. The street sweeper empties its tank onto the bait device of the waste press, after which the baiting device lifts the entire load at once, tossing it into the waste compactor. Huge challenges for the waste press were posed by the amount to be fed at once and the contents of the waste: sand, salt, litter and animal excrement. To combat odor, the equipment was equipped with a domestic Biozone deodorizing equipment. The press must withstand a huge amount of corrosive waste, as well as erosion-producing sand. However, the first delivery has been in use for more than 20 years. The investment significantly shortened the dead run of street sweeping vehicles and greatly streamlined operations.
