Description of the project
At airports, logistics are key when the goal is to get every mobile item, human and even pet to its destination on time and without compromising safety. Each airport has its own, individually honed processes around the collection of waste fractions, whether it is packaging materials generated by rental shops, miscellaneous waste from travellers, waste generated by logistics in the field or during operational maintenance itself. The constant rush and the screaming need for efficiency define solutions and equipment suppliers. Kapasity designed an equipment solution where waste is collected around the airport in specially prepared containers that are efficiently and quickly transported by wheel loaders. Wheel loader drivers collect full containers and feed them to the press. The clamp opens the container and packs the waste into the container.
