Description of the project
In hotels, especially if the hotel has its own restaurant, there is enough buzz and haste. Most of the raw materials and products come packaged in packaging plastics and cardboard, so there is plenty of packaging material. In addition, facilities are often designed a few decades ago, when recycling targets and thinking about efficient waste management in general were quite different from today, which is reflected in the design of the premises. Waste management equipment used in the midst of a rush and a rush must be truly reliable and easy to use to ensure that recycling is possible. Kapasity delivered a custom-made cardboard press at our Nummela factory to the customer and a compact electro-mechanical NVA baler suitable for the collection of plastic in the premises. The devices were equipped with an intelligent remote connection so that emptying orders from the baler and baling calls from the baler could be sent directly to the cooperating waste management company.
